WASHINGTON, DC — Frontline Technologies, the leading software provider for K-12 education, announced the official launch of MyLearningPlan OpenPD today at the Learning Forward Conference. The announcement marks the first new product launch from Frontline since the acquisition of MyLearningPlan earlier in 2015, and represents their continued investment in professional growth solutions.

Leading talent management platform added to growing human capital management suite for K-12

State-of-the-art facility will nearly double current office space for growing technology company
Frontline Technologies, a leading provider of web-based tools for K-12 education, announced plans to move into a 300,000-square-foot facility in Malvern, Pennsylvania, to accommodate the company's rapid growth. With this move, the company will nearly double its space by initially leasing a full 60,000 square feet of the facility owned by Endo International plc, with an additional 30,000 square feet to follow in 2017.
Teachwise to provide a resource for teachers to buy and sell educational materials with unique features for ease of use and flexibility
EXTON, Pennsylvania, Sep. 15, 2014- Frontline Technologies, a leading provider of web-based software for the K-12 education market, today launched a new website for teachers, Teachwise. Teachwise will provide an online marketplace for teachers to buy and sell original educational materials.
"Teachwise will be a win-win for teachers," said B2C Product Manager Dan Curry. "All teachers will be able to save valuable time by finding great materials to help in their classrooms, and teacher-sellers will be able to supplement their incomes while helping the teaching community."
Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills Elementary District 181 is considering additional steps to find more substitute teachers, after an increase in pay nine months ago didn't do the trick. The District 181 Board voted Jan. 27 to increase pay for substitutes to $95 from $84 a day, and to $114 from $100.92 for retired District 181 teachers. The increase in pay came after there was a severe shortage of substitutes during the 2013-14 school year. However, because of continued difficulties in finding enough substitute teachers, the district had 45 absences that were not covered between the start of the 2014-15 school year and Oct. 27.
