Naperville, IL and Malvern, PA –September 27, 2021– Forecast5 Analytics, a recent addition to Frontline Education, a leading provider of school administration software purpose-built for K-12, received multiple honors for its technology and workplace culture. Forecast5 product, 5Lab, was named a finalist for the Cool Tool Awards by EdTech Digest and the company was named one of the “Top Workplaces” for 2021 by the Chicago Tribune.

“At Forecast5, and now at Frontline, our team members have always been the lifeblood of the organization,” said Scott Smith, CEO of Forecast5 Analytics and now General Manager, Analytics of Frontline. “We place great emphasis on cultivating an environment where employees enjoy their work and advance professionally, while delivering top-notch products that support the K-12 community. These awards are a strong reinforcement that great people are always behind great tools.”

The largest recognition program in all of education technology, The EdTech Awards from EdTech Digest recognizes people in and around education for outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology to enrich the lives of administrators, educators and learners everywhere. Client-nominated under the District Data Solution category and a Cool Tool finalist, Forecast5 product, 5Lab, consolidates disparate data sources into a single analytics environment helping administrators do the important work of identifying learning gaps and determining intervention methods to improve student achievement outcomes.

The Chicago-area companies selected for recognition as one of the Chicago Tribune’s “Top Workplaces” for 2021 were determined through employee surveys that measured qualities such as company leadership, communications, career opportunities, working environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits. Conducted by Energage, results from the same survey earned Forecast5 recognition in the Top Workplaces USA awards annouced in March 2021.

Frontline’s 2020 acquisition of Forecast5 expanded the reach and impact of Frontline’s broad portfolio of school administration software, which is purpose-built for K-12 human capital management, business operations and student management.

“As a company committed to delivering innovative tools that empower success for K-12 administrators, it is great to see Forecast5 recognized for both its people culture and problem-solving technology,” said Mark Gruzin, CEO of Frontline Education. “Our collective commitment to culture and best-in-class software helps us to better serve our clients and to ensure their success.
