Impacted by the PESG Shutdown? Free Resources for School Districts

Teacher Absences & Subs

If you’re a school district in Michigan, you might’ve received quite the shock this week when Professional Educational Services Group, LLC (PESG) unexpectedly announced a complete cease of operations in Michigan.

The sudden announcement of PESG’s closing left a lot of school districts in the lurch for finding and placing substitute teachers, especially with the school year well underway.

Frontline Education’s solutions are not impacted in any way by the PESG closure – please know that your products, including Absence & Substitute Management, remain active, fully operational and accessible.

We want to support you during this stressful time in any way we can. If you’re a school district affected by this sudden closure, you should have already heard from us. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for assistance.

Additionally, here are resources that offer some guidance on handling your substitute scheduling needs through our system:

Article: Communicating with Substitute Teachers

You can post a message to your substitute educators within Absence & Substitute Management to inform them on how they should move forward with scheduled jobs or employment with the district.
