Frequently Asked Questions About Frontline School Health Management and COVID-19
Frontline School Health Management includes extensive functionality for managing COVID-19 related health data. Using the software, you can collect and report on physical and mental health data (symptoms, testing, immunity, mental, and behavioral health); rapidly send alerts to parents and staff when there are changes to health status for students and staff, closures/openings, and policies; effectively educate and train students, parents, and staff on safe practices, policies, and procedures; support school-focused contact tracing and quarantine and reentry procedures; and proactively monitor critical data with COVID-19-specific reporting and analytics.
Frontline School Health Management provides the following benefits:
- Keeps schools and the community at large safe by providing timely, accurate, and secure data collection and communication around critical health information.
- Reduces risk through effective education and training on safe practices, and enforcement of desired behavior with reminders and actionable reporting around non-compliance and necessary remediation.
- Supports ongoing management of school health with tools to streamline day-to-day management of students’ physical, mental, and behavioral health needs.
There are many benefits to using a dedicated Electronic Health Record (EHR) system instead of an SIS health module. An EHR provides a dedicated system built around nursing and mental and behavioral health workflows. This means you no longer need to struggle to have your health-related product and development needs prioritized by your SIS vendor. Additionally, SIS solutions don’t always include all the data you need to run your health office and support student’s mental and behavioral health needs. As a result, data can become fragmented due to staff using alternate methods of data collection, rather than one system. Other benefits include more robust health-focused dashboards and reporting, enhanced HIPAA and FERPA compliance, and better care for both students and staff.
Integration with student information systems is available to ensure demographic information is accurate. Our team works with you to import demographic data following our standard data format. A data digest is used to assist your team in the decision-making process regarding the data you wish to import.
Frontline School Health Management is built for an easy implementation yet offers districts the opportunity to customize the system to meet their needs. Configurable elements include user roles and permission settings, calendar settings, school locations (region, district, school), dropdown menus, form templates, and more.
Frontline Education provides self-guided on-demand training available to every user in the district. This training is web-based and available 24 hours a day. The system is designed to provide training on core product content through easy-to-understand micro-learning lessons. Users can start and return to a lesson at any time. Access to a learning management system is provided to district leadership to monitor progress and acknowledge team accomplishments. Frontline Education also provides live and virtual training options.
