David M. Richards

Attorney at Law

Managing Partner at Richards Lindsay & Martín, L.L.P., Dave focuses his practice on Section 504 and special education law, exclusively defending school districts and special education cooperatives. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Texas Tech University (cum laude) and his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dave has authored and contributed to key education law resources, including The Texas Principal’s Handbook and School Risk Management and Public Officials Risk Management.
