Chris Tonas

Chris Tonas is the Chief Technology Officer for Frontline Education. Chris is responsible for leading the technological aspects of the company including engineering and development and managing cloud infrastructure and security. 

Chris has a distinguished career marked by his involvement in major technology advancements. The majority of Chris’ career was spent at Oracle where he oversaw the development of frameworks and platforms powering the 100 Oracle Cloud Applications that form Oracle’s SaaS offerings, including Human Capital Management and Enterprise Resource Planning. Additionally, Chris’ role as CTO at Pluralsight involved leading a team of engineers, driving standardization and modernization initiatives, and expanding the company’s global product and technology. 

Chris is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
